Mandatory Requirements (Strict Evaluation)
• Total Experience: Minimum 5+ years of total experience engineering enterprise identity platforms.
• SailPoint Expertise: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with SailPoint configuration, including connectors, rules, transforms, workflows, and policies.
• Lifecycle Automation: Proven experience building Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) automated workflows, converting manual identity tasks into scalable, policy-driven processes.
• Application Onboarding: Direct experience owning application onboarding into an identity governance model—specifically configuring birthright access, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and request-driven access.
• Technical Skillset 1: Strong hands-on experience provisioning and deprovisioning user access across Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and various enterprise applications.
• Technical Skillset 2: A solid, working grip on identity protocols and architecture, including SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and directory synchronization methods.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities across provisioning flows and integrations, with a strict focus on root-cause remediation rather than temporary workarounds.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or equivalent real-world experience.
Preferred Requirements
• Process & Standards: Experience contributing to shared engineering knowledge bases, creating technical runbooks, and improving enterprise identity platform standards over time.

Core Roles & Responsibilities
1. Build and Manage Identity Systems
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Governance solutions.
• Configure and optimize platforms across SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and highly available.
2. Automate JML Lifecycle & Provisioning
• Build automated workflows for employee onboarding (Joiner), cross-departmental role changes (Mover), and offboarding (Leaver) triggered by HR events.
• Develop automated provisioning and deprovisioning architectures to eliminate manual workloads and ensure employees receive the right access at the exact right time.
3. Application Integration & Authentication
• Integrate diverse business applications with the central IAM platform by building and maintaining connectors using APIs, SCIM, LDAP, or other integration methodologies.
• Configure and support secure Single Sign-On (SSO) and federated authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
4. Governance, RBAC, and Security Compliance
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models and define baseline birthright access.
• Enforce security principles such as the Principle of Least Privilege.
• Implement access governance policies, approval workflows, and periodic access certification reviews while maintaining rigorous audit logs to meet compliance demands.
5. Customization & Engineering Collaboration
• Create custom workflows, rules, transforms, and scripts within SailPoint, leveraging languages like Java, PowerShell, or Python where applicable.
• Collaborate closely with HR, IT Infrastructure, Security, Application Owners, and DevOps teams to seamlessly onboard new platforms.
• Document technical configurations, identity workflows, and operational procedures in shared repositories.
